Having flown into town just last night, Jessica Simpson was spotted exiting her hotel in New York City on Wednesday morning (January 5).
Toting a leopard print bag and wearing a big smile on her face, the "Dukes of Hazzard" darling eased her way out to an awaiting car while being greeted by a crowd of gathered onlookers.
The Big Apple visit comes after Jess enjoyed a romantic holiday getaway with fiance Eric Johnson in Aspen, CO.
Talking about how elated she's been since finding her latest love, Jess's dad, Joe Simpson, said, "This is the happiest she's been in her entire life. She is in love and I know she will have so many love songs to write straight from the heart for her new record."
