While she just departed the Betty Ford Center after her court ordered rehab stint, Lindsay Lohan has received bad news pertaining to her altercation with the clinic's chemical technician last month.
Breaking reports tell that the "Mean Girls" star did, indeed, commit battery against Dawn Holland after returning past curfew on December 12th.
A Palm Desert Police Department statement released to the public tells, "The investigation determined Ms. Lohan violated several aspects of her probation, including the battery [charge]."
A department spokesperson added that police plan to hand the case over to prosecutors with Lohan's probation officer also set to be notified.
Lindsay is currently set to appear in court on February 25th for a probation review hearing.
