And earlier, members of the late King of Pop’s family were spotted arriving at a Los Angeles courthouse to observe the goings on of the preliminary proceedings.
Jermaine, Katherine, and LaToya Jackson all made their way through the sea of press and paparazzi, all looking preoccupied with what lay ahead.
The Jackson family has claimed that Michael predicted his own death shortly before he died, noting that he was paranoid he’d be murdered.
A rep for the family told press, "What is incredibly ironic is that Michael told his mother shortly before he died that he thought someone was going to kill him ... and they were going to kill him for his catalog."
