Thanks to "The X Factor” in the UK, Cheryl Cole has become a household name. But it’s being reported that she may not make the cut for the upcoming American version of the talent show.
Apparently, the “3 Words” singer was certain she would land a spot on the Simon Cowellspearheaded gig. Unfortunately, TV bosses doubt that she is “famous enough.”
A source close to Cole told press, “It was thought the American job was a done deal but it seems the U.S. executives have had a last-minute change of heart. They are now questioning whether she’s famous enough in America.”
Furthermore, the insider added that Cowell is doing “everything in his power” to persuade U.S. bosses that Miss Cole is the right choice to sit alongside him.
