Certainly enjoying himself now that he's back in the wing of being a free man, Lil Wayneis the center of attention in the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
Posing shirtless for the cover, the hip-hop star chatted about topics surrounding his time in lockup for the publication that's set to hit newsstands on January 21st.
Highlights from Lil Wayne's Rolling Stone interview are as follows:
On the books he read in prison: “[Anthony Kiedis'] Scar Tissue was really good,” he says. “I also read the Bible for the first time. It was deep! I liked the parts where some character was once this, but he ended up being that. Like he’d be dissing Jesus, and then he ends up being a saint. That was cool.”
On not being invited to cellmates’ Uno games because he was too good at the game: “They’d be like, ‘Oh, we thought you were asleep.’ Like you can’t look inside my cell and see that I’m right there! We ain’t got no doors!”
On dealing with solitary confinement: “Solitary was the worst. No TV. No radio. No commissary. Basically you’re in there 23 hours a day.” The only upside was he had a window where he could watch cars go by. “I used to sit at that motherf—er all day,” he says
