Hailee Steinfeld

She won the Best young Actor/Actress trophy at the 16th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards this past week, and Hailee Steinfeld couldn’t be happier about her budding film career.
And the “True Grit” gal is still getting used to the whole Tinseltown vibe, as evidenced by a recent snub at the hands of “Glee” star Lea Michele.
Hailee told press, "When I auditioned for 'True Grit,' I was on the Paramount lot, and that's where they film 'Glee,' and I saw her after my audition and I was wearing, like, 1800 [period clothing]. It was so embarrassing."
"I saw her, and I went up to ask her for an autograph, and it was just really bad timing, and I was so embarrassed because of what I was wearing. The only thoughts that were going through my head were, 'Oh my God, Lea Michele thinks I'm a total freak.'"
And though she was upset over Michele’s denial of her autograph request, Miss Steinfeld has since declared, "Everything is totally fine."
Still, Lea felt horrible. "I heard Hailee was upset and I feel terrible. The Glee schedule is so jam-packed that the PA probably pulled me so that I wouldn't be late to set. I never meant to hurt her feelings. She's an extraordinary talent and I look forward to meeting her one day."
